Finally, here is my first post about Phu Quoc, a pretty Vietnamese Island located off the southern coast of Cambodia. I visited the island last month (December 2015), and completely fell in love with it! It has all of the amazing things that I love about Vietnam but without the chaos et al that comes with Saigon or Hanoi.

This trip was also my very first GoPro trip and I have to say, I am really happy with how this video turned out! I have also learned that I am a total spaz. Seriously – are everyone’s videos this shaky?

Practical Info:
I booked through John’s Tours for about $20 USD for the day and was quite happy with it. That price includes pick up and drop off from the hotel, lunch, and snorkelling gear. A lot of their tours include visits to various pearl/fish sauce/etc factories so be sure to check the itinerary before you book unless you particularly feel like sitting through a sales pitch.

If you are prone to seasickness, the water can be quite rough when they are deciding where to anchor – there were a few people on the boat with me who were looking rather green, I don’t think they anticipated the boat rolling around so much because the water at Long Beach is very calm.

Have any tips for taking awesome GoPro videos? Let me know in the comments! I’m also looking for recommendations for other good SE Asia snorkelling spots. I’d like to try going somewhere with shallower water next time so I can skip the life jacket!
